Jen is a full-time Realtor serving Central Iowa for over 20 years helping 1100+ buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals. Driven by a passion for people, she builds long-lasting client relationships through consistent communication, strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving, deep market expertise and genuine care. While consistently ranking in the top 1% of Realtors in the area, Jen defines success not by production alone, but by guiding clients through each step of the process and equipping them with the knowledge needed to make confident, informed real estate decisions. Jen loves that her clients have repeatedly referred their family and friends making her business 99.9% referral based.
Jen created the JSRE Team to share her real estate knowledge and elevate her clients' experience. Built on collaboration, encouragement, and shared excellence, the team works together to inspire and strengthen one another while continuously improving service. Each agent provides personalized, one-on-one attention to their clients while benefiting from the team’s systems, marketing, resources, networking, and industry connections. This collaborative approach allows the JSRE Team to create more opportunities, streamline the real estate process, and consistently deliver stronger results for their buyers and sellers
Jen has been deeply involved in the real estate industry through leadership and service roles at the local, state & national levels. She first served locally through the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors where she has been on numerous committees and their board of directors for 10+ years, including serving as President in 2022. She also contributes at the state with the Iowa Association of Realtors serving committees such as visionary, legislative, finance, Iowa Realtors Scholarship Foundation, Presidential Advisory Groups, IR Board of Directors and currently in a leadership role as an Ambassador. After the tragic loss of a friend in 2011, Jen became passionate about realtor safety serving on the National Association of Realtors Safety Committee, the Beverly Carter Foundation Board of Directors (as President), and speaking nationally to ensure that every real estate professional--and client--stays safe throughout the buying & selling process. She credits her deep and widespread involvement in the real estate industry with strengthening her understanding of industry issues and expanding relationships across the real estate community.
While Jen has received numerous awards throughout her career some of her most cherished are being named Realtor of the Year for the State of Iowa in 2025, Des Moines Area Association of Realtors Realtor of the Year in 2018 & receiving the Beverly Carter Heart of Safety Award. Above all of these awards, Jen cherishes a hug from a client at closing, a text from a buyer years later saying, "We still love the home you found us," or seeing her littlest clients come visit Santa at her home each December.
Jen has a deep involvement & commitment to her community supporting & volunteering for numerous charities & programs.
Above all, Jen’s greatest reward is the relationships she builds. Helping clients navigate one of life’s most important financial and emotional decisions with trust, care, and confidence continues to drive her every day.
